Google made some very interesting announcements in the image recognition space lately.

First they integrated Goggles into their web user interface so that you can now use images to run queries. You can even drag an drop your pic of choice to start your search!

The Mountain View giant also launched a new marketing experiment using Google Goggles, partnering with HTC to produce a 360 degree “image-recognition-enabled” communication campaign. And so did they with the Getty Museum to let visitors know more about a painting just by snapping it.

Obviously big times are ahead for mobile scanning! It’s no time for staying away from the trend. Any brand, any developer should now develop its own innovative scanning app. And we’re providing all the tools for doing so in a few hours!
